They claim that the BCS violates anti-trust agreements. News footage, shown this morning on FOX, featured LSU in last BCS game. They had a close up of Dorsey waiving the LSU flag after winning the championship. This has been going on for awhile, but it seems to be gaining some momentum. http://www.wsbtv.com/sports/15913399/detail.html
While the BCS has its problems, I don't think getting the government involved is going to make matters better. The government has no real stake in college football--how ridiculous.
It's funny that a Congressman from Georgia is leading this new push. His buddy is from Hawaii...who should be very grateful for the BCS awarding them a nice payday last year.
I agree. Before they go poking around in how Bowl Payouts are disbursed, perhaps they should balance their own budget.
I agree with the verbiage of the article but I also don't see the point of getting the government involved. If they destroy college football like they have destroyed this country I'm gonna be pretty pissed off.
Once again. I am glad all those idiots in congress have fixed all the country's problems and have now moved onto lesser important things like sports issues. Can't wait until congress starts doing movie rewiews for the Washington Post.
