1. QB B
A+ for Harris and F for Jennings. So based on one playing 2/3 of the snaps, it averages out to a B grade. Harris can make every throw. Even on the run. Even against his body. He even makes much better decisions of where to go with the ball. So much for Jennings having the "experience advantage". That myth needs to die.

    RB B+
Same solid set of running back by committee as we have come to expect.

    WR A
Only had the one drop in the endzone by Chark, but that was somewhat of a tough catch.

    TE C-
I think I shall rename this category "the 6th O-lineman"

    OL B-
Complete garbage for the first third of the game and then turned it completely around with Harris on the field.

    DL B-
Probably their best effort this season. Still not good enough for SEC play most likely, but at least it's an improvement.

    LB C+
Kwon is a beast. We know that. Beckwith is seeing more and more time. Although it's still not enough. He needs to be out there the entire time. Hopefully that begins next week, otherwise Auburn will gash the middle of the defense to the tune of 300+ rushing yards.

    DB A
I hope this means last week was an anomaly. This unit needs to be beastly the remainder of the year for this defense to succeed. Otherwise it will be a long year from this side of the ball.

    ST B
    No comment.

    Coaching C
This needed to be downgraded from what ordinarily would have been an A grade, simply from the standpoint that this coaching staff thought Jennings gave LSU their best chance at victory. #31 is still seeing half the snaps at MLB. That is 50 % too much. That's worrisome that decisions like these are being made by people making tons of money.
  2. the dbs are dependent on the front 4. last week was not their doing.

  3. Yes. You know who was in when NM St. gashed the middle for their touchdown.

  5. Yea Welter got schooled on that long TD.

The entire front 7 is very weak.

Let's us hope Harris can score enough.
  6. LSU has 7 of 8 games vs ranked teams coming up.
  7. Harris is the 1st true freshman in program history to throw for 3 TDs in a game... added 2 with his feet. The fans, the team, and most importantly the scoreboard has spoken. We have a QB y'all.

  8. Correct.

The front 7 is likely to be gashed badly vs Auburn.

  9. Yes. He has QB'ed for <almost> 9 straight TD possessions only marred by the last second hail mary. There has got to be an LSU record there somewhere.

  10. The New Mexico State defense was out of gas in the third quarter. I have to see this offensive line block properly against an SEC West opponent before grading them higher than C.
