On both long TD passes, Delpit doesn't read the play properly, and what was really noticeable is his lack of speed. And then Dave Aranda, wtf were you thinking. We needed to be in 3 high safeties covering 1/3 of the field each. 3 rushing, 5 DBs. Somebody please explain what he was thinking.
No I'm talking about not playing prevent defense. I mean the only thing you couldn't do in that situation is give up an 85 yard TD because you were playing too aggressive with your coverage.

this was the time to run prevent... 115 on the clock up by 12, make them dink and dunk the ball and use the timeouts... bump and run was not it right there...
Just totally fucking ridiculous by Aranda. Nobody gonna be coming knocking on his door in the off-season unless he gets his head out his ass.
I think if you could ask him right now if he had it to do over, would he change the coverage he would say yes. Give Bama some credit for recognizing it and Tua making a great throw. We won. I'm not going to beat Aranda up and don't understand those who do. He's one of the main reasons we are undefeated.
