OK all you Tigers...I just happened to stumble across a friend of mine before the game and decided to tailgate with him. He has a buddy who is a ticket broker, and he had 2 tickets left. He decided to GIVE THEM TO ME! My gf called into work and we witnessed a GREAT GAME! All the doubters have to give our D credit now. They left everything out on the field and played a damn good game. It was a tale of 2 halfs. I just was about to die when Glenn Coffee almost got into the endzone on that last play of regulation! I've seen some of you fans post about how "if you dont miss the FG's, you win easily". Well, that's true but he did...You can say the same about AU's kicker--and that gives you guys a loss. Quit talking about "ifs". Also, I saw some posts about bad officiating. Granted I was at the game so I couldn't see the reviews, but I thought they did an ok job. We had 1 more penalty than you btw. They are going to miss calls. It was a tough game for them. FANS...I have to tell you what I like you LSU fans. We had a great time and me and my gf met 2 couples on the Quad for GameDay. They were awesome. Also, my friends company had a huge, walk-on smoker doing ribs and we would talk to LSU fans as they walked by. We'd see a family and tell the kids that "once you turn 18, you're parents dont have to make you wear that" and to the older couples, "we have spousal abuse laws in Alabama and your wife/husband cant MAKE you wear that". Most folks got a kick out of it and we talked to a bunch of fans. You guys are awesome :thumb: Also, for the fans that came to Ttown, how did you guys like it here? Were we good hosts and did you enjoy the Alabama atmosphere? Im SO proud of our guys!!! Closner, and more importantly, Prothro out and we played a HELL of a game! Our oline that played today is who you'll see next year. They are just young folks, mostly freshmen. Andre Smith should help us out a lot next year also. I'd love for you guys to do well, but I just have to hope that McFadden runs wild on you guys. Nothing personal, I just want that SECCG. You guys know how that is! It was a great game between two great teams. I wish I could say my friends, girlfriend and I were treated the same way other fans at an opponents stadium should be treated. The fans around us at the game were classless slobs, but I'm sure they're just the minority. Best of luck for the rest of the season.
i have heard alot of stories this A.M. about alot of **** that went on yesterday and last night after the game. i just hope these were isolated incidents. Rabalais is also reporting liquor bottles, cups and trash being thrown in the endzone after OT...
Good game....BUT, quick comment about the fieldgoal thing. You mention that Auburn "gave" us the game by missing field goals. Did you simply forget that we also missed 3 field goals in that game??? We also dropped 2 sure TD passes. That Auburn game should've never went into OT. So no....Auburn did not "give" us that game.
The difference is that you will not read how classless some bama fans were in the USA Today. the media has out for LSU. I guess we are an easy target.
I didn't see ESPN after the game but did the Gameday crew or anyone call out the Bama students for throwing the beer bottles at people leaving the stadium?

Not a big deal, like i have always said... you get college age kids and alot of alcohol together, shlt is gonna happen... i expect it. Our bad rep comes from drunk students also... everyone in the SEC is the same, except Vandy. Don't hang your head, not your fault, just like some of the LSU past isn't ours.
