For your reading enjoyment....It's not really a flame, but more a back handed slap. The picture of Mike is not funny. http://www.thenewsstar.com/news/blogs/blog10/index.html
3rd tier rags which combined probably have a circulation of about 5,000 papers. And was shown the door once they figured out he as a total moron that didn't have a clue.
He has nerve putting Michigan number two. I could agree if he put Michigan at six and moved those teams, three through six, up a notch. If LSU stays healthy, at the end of the season, much like last year, I think we could compete with any of those teams.
Well to be fair, this is exactly what everybody on TF has been worrying about all summer. We have some real offensive question marks and, while certainly a top-5 team, are possibly not a top-2 team. I can see an impartial observer putting Texas and Michigan ahead of LSU. VT and West Virginia is a little harder to understand, though. Of course, since the advent of the BCS, #2 is as good as number one . . . keep winning and you're in the national championship game. If media hype, Les' swagger, Dorsey's return, Pelliniphobia, or whatever-the-hell gets LSU ranked in the top-2, it is an advantage. Now the challenge is to be the BCS #2 in October.
yep. and in honesty, this is making me a bit nervous. i would rather sneak up on it than have everyone expect it.
Excellent! It is what subjective polls (e.g, AP) are about - the only way to move down is to lose. The only way to move up is for someone above you to lose. If USC and LSU are both undefeated at the end of the season (unlikely but possible) we'll be in the Sugar for a chance at the NC.
Two observations: 1) Glenn obviously wasn't one of the two first place votes LSU! got; and 2) I wonder if his picks -- especially picking  6th -- would have been any different if not for this:
As much as I hate that retard, it actually seems like a fair assessment of the team going into the season. Sure, I love that a lot of publications have so much faith in us this season, but at the same time, there are a lot of questions that will hopefully be answered in the first few games. I'm not saying I'm a doubter at all and I have a ton of faith in this team. But we just need to be cautious this early on.
His question marks are legit, but he's such an LSU hater, funny how he thinks saban is the greatest coach in college football, seems I remember him having a lower opinion of him when he was wearing purple, or maybe it's the purple he has a low opinion of. He's just the La. Finescum, he's a muckracker.
