Has anyone given any thought to this possibility?

It is not beyond the realm of possibility that , if we falter, could play in the Capital One Bowl, and possibly against....Michigan?

    Stranger things have happened...

I have even dreamed up even wackier scenarios, that I believe to be realistic, but will not share for I would get drilled!!:hihi:

I hadn't considered that. There are some wild possibilities out there. Florida vs Illinois (Zook), Bama vs Texas A&M (Fran) and the the one you mentioned. Hell, it would make for a good bowl season with the story lines, wouldn't it?

That's one that could very well happen, and I can't say I wouldn't be excited to watch that one. Their records are very similar. Here's to hoping that bowl game comes to fruition.

Fulmer's job is on the line here. If they lose, I think he is done.

Hopefully his players bring it on Saturday in support of their leader.

I was thinking Rose vs. USC.

I think even if we flatter in the SEC championship game our BCS ranking would be high enough to get at large bid to any of the BCS bowls.

Doesn't the Rose Bowl still have an agreement with the Big 10 if it's not hosting the NC game the Big 10 champ gets the invite? Maybe not...can't recall...

Depends on who we falter to. If it's UT then UGA would probably get the bid over us. If we lose to UGA then we could possibly get an at large bid.
