Wasn't a great coaching performance today, but job got done, so you have to give him some credit. 4th and 1 at the 45 and we punt with 2:10 to go? One of the more questionable calls I've seen. But 11-2 and 10-2 are hard to argue against.
It was the right call. Ark had no timeouts and we gave 'em a long field against our great defense, and it worked.
The punt was less than 15 yards. I would have gone for it, but based on the outcome of the game, it was the right call.
Wonder what you would have said had we GONE for it and got stopped????!?!! Arkansas had ZERO timeouts left and a minimum of 80 yards to go for the game winning TD with under 2 min left. You GOTTA have faith in your defense. We MAY have gotten the first and run out the clock without giving the ball back....but the right call was made. You punt it.
