Has NFL Network ended the Gumbel experiment?

    now who knows their throat will still be sore a week in advance.


    sounds to me like they realize he sucks and are experimenting.

    He's pretty good though.

  8. because despite all the hate, that high school team is pretty prestigious, and being the voice is them is pretty good green in the pocket. :)

  10. Gumbel is a horrible announcer. No excitement and his narrations are about 3 seconds too late.
