Just me? I'm distacted and frustrated. Don't know what to do with myself today. I wish we'd kicked off in the afternoon. Seems like 8PM is taking forever to get here.

I think its a combination of things. High expectations, lot of talent on the team

Lot of unknowns, change at QB from last year, change at head coach, def coordinator, position coaches. How does Addai do as the feature back?

I had to say something to someone, I'm about to pop over here in Houston!

hou, let this be the least of your worries. Joe is gonna put pain on tacklers this year. Remember last years UF game? Addai has the ability to take games into his own hands. I can't wait to watch him light it up! :)

Wisconsin beat Temple 65-0 so that takes a little pressure off. For me, at least.

The ND/Mich game helped me through 3 hours, now I guess i'll stare at the Iowa/ISU game and not pay attention to it because i'll be to busy thinking about Russell to Bowe, and long Addai runs. Gawd Damn I love this time of the year.

You're right though, this is a strange-feeling day. It feels like the entire season is today. Other than the Sugar Bowl, I can't recall a game I've been this jacked up about.

About that time to get the food going, the beer flowing, and the beat down coming!!!

I know what you mean. I, too, haven't felt this good about an LSU game since the Sugar Bowl.

There's something in the air already about this season, Katrina-related stuff nonwithstanding. I seriously did not think LSU would have a chance to crack the top 3 *prior to* the Tenn. game...and that's just what may happen if they win convincingly (if they're sloppy and win, I think an impressive, victorious Ohio State jumps LSU/stays in front of LSU).

Should LSU then beat a still-undefeated Tenn team---assuming a Ohio St win this evening---challenging for the #2 spot is not out of the question...and we're not even to October at that point.

    Wow. :crystal:
