    Hi everyone,
I am going to the Bengal Belles Football Camp 101 today. We get to tour places and here some of the coaches give talks, show highlights and explain a few plays. Sometimes we get to ask questions. If I am brave enough, I will ask a question. I thought it might be fun to ask some really specific technical football question. Many of the belles are very capable of that already. I however am not in that category.
So, do any of you have a good question to pose? Please don't make them the type that would be critical of any play or playcalling....just maybe for fun some super technical surprising type of question.
I am already sort of chickening out, so maybe this wasn't a good idea after all.

PS We get to run out of the chute at around 7:30 tonight. Family and friends are invited to the stadium to watch. I consider everyone here a friend if you want to come out. They sometimes show highlights and give talks at the end that you may enjoy.:)

I wanted my wife to go to this but her work is crazy right now.

Ask him who will be the starting QB. He likes that.

I would like to know when the hell Lee is going to take snaps and why we have to waste his red shirt if RP is improving his situation.

I will try to ask that.
    Let me get this right,
" When will Lee take snaps and are you concerned that you are wasting his redshirt because RP is improving?"

I think we will get to hear the new OC talk. I was thinking about asking if they had to change all of the plays or names of the plays now that Jimbo is gone and how will that affect the veterans? Is that a good one?

I surely wouldn't say "Wasting"......it's not "Wasting" it in a coach's eyes or he wouldn't burn it. I think khounba was joking though.

Geaux Girl, we expect a FULL report tommorrow morning, on my screen by 10:00 a.m.

I have an idea- just food for thought. If, as you say, you aren't real in tuned to the x's and o's of the game, apparently that aspect of the game isn't what is important to you- and you're not nearly alone in those regards- but why not just ask a question about something that really interests you?

Not joking. I would ask and I would say waste, because I'm a fan not a coach.

But you can say burn instead if it will help you ask the question.

I understand but I was looking at it from a point of reference in how it would be percieved by the coach as to generate more of the response sought rather than just a heckler in the crowd.

Just gives the question more validity, IMO. If a coach was asked that question, in those words, he'd invariably talk about using redshirts, maybe a bit defensively, and not address the meat and potatoes of that question.

For example, I think you'd get a better response by channeling his answer towards the information you are seeking with a question like, "With RP improving, why was it in the best interest of the team to burn Lee's redshirt"? Maybe I'm wrong though.

A southern belle could curse at you like a sailor and you would just nod in agreement. I seriously doubt CLM will drop the f-bomb if she uses the phrase wasted redshirt. Now if she asks about the Bama coach she is on her own.

    ask this:

"When a head coach has an offensive background (like les), what level of involvement does he have running the offense (i.e. installing the offense, and playcalling) and how much of it is put into the offensive coordinator's hands (gary crowton)?

    or

i myself would like to know the process a recruit goes through when LSU is pursuing them. i know the coaches cover certain territories but at what point does the position coach, coordinator, and head coach visit??

also what actvities are planned for recruits' official visits??

    Well,
I'm heading out to camp. I am having a "shot" of courage first. I may try to tactfully ask the redshirting question. I will try to ask some of the players about the recruiting process too or a coach if I have to....
I will give a full report. If I play well today...maybe I'll be a starter next year. Ha!
    Let 'er rip!
