I started a thread on Herby's pick of Miami, "Herby is Hot and Bothered over Miami". I was just sick of his gushing over Miami when he has nothing to base his opinion on. They've had staffing changes but is that a reason to go out on a limb and pick them to win it all? I really tired of Herby and Korso picking these oddball teams to win the NC, in the hopes that they look like geniuses at the end of the year. If they miss the pick then everyone will forget by the end of the season. But what gets me is that they try and sell it to the viewers, ranting and raving over said team. They just pull a pick out of their @ss and sell it to you.
Watching the pregame last night with Fowler, Corso, Holtz, Herbstreit and May. My first thought was what a bunch of morons.
I don't get it. If they are morons, why do you guys keep watching them? Not sure which is worse ... being a moron on TV or watching the moron on TV. :wink:
There is nothing else to watch on saturday mornings. ESPN is OK but the talking heads are getting more and more obnoxious. It used to not be as bad as it is.
I totally disagree, there were plenty valid reasons to pick Miami. You speak of them as if they are TCU.
BIG advantage to living on the west coast. Wake up, football's already on. No listening to bozos sitting at a desk arguing.
