If this guy doesn't get charged with assault it is rediculous. He sucker punched a fan that was not looking at the player and was going somewhere else. Frank Solich should be forced to kick the guy off the team.

If you turned the tables around, and a player running off the field with his helmet off was sucker punched and knocked out, you can bet that the fan would be arrested on the spot and charges filed.

At the very least he should be kicked off the team and sent to jail. What a cheap shot, they should make an example out of him and drill him every way they can.
