Do you guys feel cheated? I see a bunch have joined the board and figured you wanted to talk some Capital 1 stuff, but as you can see 98% of Tigers fans have already forgotten we have a game left against a game opponent. Most are only interested in Saban. Sorry!
I think the Iowa board would probably be the same way if it was Ferentz. It is a bummer to not see any "football" threads out here, it is for sure one of the best bowl matchups. If he takes the Miami job, I wonder if anyone will be thinking about the game. The topic will switch to who replaces him (which I see is already happening). Here's hoping he declines it.
You're right. Lost in all of this "shuffle" is a Capital One Bowl that features 2 of the nation's hottest teams. TONS of subplots surround the game: the two finished the season by winning their last 6 & 7 games respectively. Both are 9-2. Both lost one game by a similar fashion (i.e. a$$e$ kicked :shock. THeir respective head coaches are best of friends (maybe Ferentz would be interested in taking the LSU job IF Nick leaves? :hihi: --just kidding!!! I hope and pray that Nick stays). and both teams have 2 of the top 10 defenses in the country. Tighten up your chinstraps!!! It's SURELY going to be a nasty, hard-hitting game!!!!! :shock: :geaux:
