    If he wanted to go back to college he should've honored his contract!
    Then he should've at least went to a different conference or a team other
    than SEC west.

    Missed LSU my ass, he wouldn't have went to Bama then.

    you know, its hard to see him go...But I dont really blame him...He was here making 2 point something million, Doliphins offered him 4 million...it was a money issue. But now that he's in the NFL, and he cant rule with a iorn-fist...he feels that it's not worth it. I bet if he could have it to do over again...He'd hope LSU would have up his salary and kept him here...But you have to know, no matter what happens LSU is very Special to him, and he is to LSU...Our 2nd National Championship, his very 1st as a coach. That will never go away, no matter how much ppl hate him, or he moves from job to job.....
    Then again, look at Bobby Petrino....offered the LSU job, said no thanks, offered the UA, no thanks...not to mention other NFL jobs...Some coaches are willing to stick it out with a school.

    LSU stopped being special to him as soon as we couldn't pay him more.

    Hell, I don't blame him. But it sure as hell won't stop me from hating him now.

    I'll back up SabanFan. I'm pissed.

    However, like other posters have said...I'll never forget what he did for our university and state on that magical day in January.
