USC petitioning for Williams return to NCAA. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2004/football/ncaa/04/20/bc.fbc.pac.10.williams.ap/index.html
Hill's case has nothing to do with any of this, he's a junior and none of these rulings effect his case at all. Plus, he doesn't want to come back and never really did in the first place.
he could have returned if it was worth jumping through the hoops. but i guess saban didnt think it was worth jumping throught the hoops.
Coach Saban also probably didn't want to take it up with the NCAA. The organization isn't all that trustworthy and who knows if they'd have okayed Hill's return now, but held it against us at some point in the future. They seem to hold grudges and take every little thing as a sign of "other" impropriety in a program. As in, "if Hill signed with an agent, but LSU still wanted him to play, what else are they hiding?" Witch hunts are alive and well in Overland Park, Kansas.
you don't remember that there was a possibility of petitioning the ncaa to get hill's eligibility back. either you are i were sadly mistaken about what was going on the time.
I know what everyone is talking about. I just wanted to know what jumping through hoops had to do with it?
