    From the time she first came to public awareness she has been involved in continuous scandals. Where there's smoke there's fire. The only other politician who has been suspected of wrongdoing almost from day one was Edwin Edwards. He too avoided conviction and imprisonment until finally his misdeeds caught up with him.
