How are they still talking about Posey (Fla State) still being in the home run hunt?? He is one behind Matt Clark (THE FREAKIN LEADER!!!) and his year is OVER! I just don't get ESPN...I guess I never will.
It just gets old man. It just gets freakin old. They have mentioned Gordy and Posey all week long...and now Posey has NO SHOT at the home run title...and they still say he is "in the home run race"?? I know all of you "cool headed" LSU fans are too cool to let that bother you...sorry I am not.
I have always liked Mike Patrick. I liked him back in the day when he did college football, then Sunday Night Football on ESPN. But what threw me off was when he said, "I wish Posey would have had the opportunity to try for the triple crown." He did have the opportunity, but his team lost to straight in Omaha. Tough sh!t.
Whenever you have a disagreement with people, you really need to let it go. It's not healthy to allow such things to linger.

They called him "the best player in the country" several times. He settled for a walk when he had two beautiful pitches to swing at. He walked...and was the person thrown out at second to end his career short of the triple crown.
well, he's 1st in BA (at least was before CWS), 1st in RBI, and 2nd in HR. Plus he can play all 9 positions. and is pretty good as a catcher.
I liked how in FSU's 1st game, they said Posey was in a three-way tie... with Beckham and some dude from College of Charleston. No mention of Clark. I guess they just looked on the sheet of All Americans and assumed. Thing is they are like Wal Mart now and that it's become such a monopoly that you have no choice but to suck up what they feed you. Where else will you go? they have NFL, MLB, NBA, college bball, college baseball, college football, etc...
