    1. LSU
    2. Auburn
    3. Mississippi State
    4. Alabama (Unfortunately. Maybe we will grab 3rd).
    5. Arkansas
    6. Ole Miss

    What about you?

Agree with 1 and 2. Arkansas will be hard to figure, but they have McFadden and Jones coming back, with the same QB, they should be higher than 5, unless Nutt loses the team which could happen. I bet Nutt does not lose the team, and Arky finishes 3rd. I give Bama 4th based on improvement under saban. Then the Miss teams.

Surprise ending, Bama edging out Arky for 3rd.

Disclaimer: I was ALL wrong about Arky last year, except that I did think LSU would beat them in a close game. But, I don't think Arky built a dynasty.

Why Arkansas so low? I know they had some transfers and stuff, but with McFadden and Jones back on offense they should win a couple of games...

Arkansas has been mediocre since the 10-1 start and blowout loss to LSU.

All of the off the field turmoil almost certainly will affect their season.

And, I put Miss State about Bama because well... they embarrassed us at home and simply outplayed us last year.

I'll admit though, I am kinda bias toward State. I like Coach Croom and I wish he'd hurry up and win a few games and save his job.

That shocker over Florida in 2004 seems to be his only signature win, save wins over mediocre Bama last year and mediocre Ole miss the year before.

    blowout?

LSU is the easy favorite for the West. Just based on recent history, Auburn has to be second. After that, I'll see Arkansas 3rd, Bama 4th, Ole Miss 5th, Miss St last. No way in hell Miss St is any higher than second to last.

Alabama has a good chance of being #3. Put Arky at 4.

    1. LSU!
    2. Auburn

Solid 2 and after that it is still up in the air. For some reason I think Ole Miss might have a better year this year and be the surprise of the West.

    3. Bama
    4. Ole Miss
    5. Arkansas (still no QB and they only have Monk but no one to throw to him, McFadden doesnt count. Running game is solid but will face very good front 7s throughout the SEC next year)
    6. Miss St.

If Croom hasnt done anything yet, I dont expect to see much of anything from them for awhile. They put out a good D (D-line) but that is about it. His days are numbered. Jessie Jackson can suck it.:hihi:
