I think we match up well with their defense and will have opportunities for big plays, but what do we do to slow up their offense? If we blitz Manning like we did Favre, he'll dissect you with the 3 step drop and short passing game. Same thing if you rush 4 and drop 7. Plus, it's no secret now that our D lives and dies with the turnover. You can bet the Colts are preaching ball security and I don't think we can rely on getting 5 turnovers. This one may well come down to the last one who gets the ball will one. 45-42 Saints
One thing I've seen with Manning over the years is his uncanny ability to read a defense. He can get the d to show a blitz like a madman and then adjust. Disguising the defense, imo, is a big must. However, the Jets were able to put pressure on him and caused a few mishaps with Manning early. Maybe pressuring him early will help out.
the saints have to do the same thing they did against the vikings, they need to keep everything in front of them, and then try and strip balls. Peyton is going to get his yards and completions, i wouldn't be surprised if he throws for over 400, but the Saints need to lock down the red zone and hold them to 3's instead of 6's.
You hit that motherEFFER and you hit that motherEFFER HARD....similar to what we did to Brett Favre. Knock the PHUCK out of him and let him know what's up. THAT'S how you beat him.
1. Don't give up the first drive Touchdown. 2. Score Early and Often, because as the game goes on, Manning will start to learn the defense and find ways to beat them. 3. Pound Manning's d*ck in the dirt early and often.
this is what I was gonna say. he's rarely hit. you cant out-scheme him and you cant shut him down. You have to find a way to lay the wood to his waterhead self and get him out of his comfort zone. Even if it takes a semi-late pile-driving effort from mccray. or maybe just bring a straight-pin and pop his head.
smart offensive line and his quick release. also he is about 7 foot tall with a huge head. he can see over and around everything at all times.
