Obama has done almost everything differently. He quit kissing Pakistan's ass for one thing. He hasn't launched into unwinnable wars. Europe is back on our side. It goes on and on.

You are deluding yourself. Read a little bit and you'll quickly find that he is not following Bush's policies at all. Why would he?
because he realizes they are sound. its like with guantanamo. to get elected you say over and over you will close it. but why? no need to close it, thats stupid. and he knows this. and he gets eleted saying the opposite. but when president, he wants to be somewhat competent, so he breaks the promise, he never meant it. it would be fucking crazy to close guantanamo. he knows that, bush knew it.

Then why did he change them? Any fool can see that Obama and Bush foreign policy are not at all similar. Obama has just been successful, so Republicans are trying to take credit for it.
