Do you guys think just having him would have completely changed the past 2 seasons? Off the field issues aside, he was one of the most talented QB's we have ever had... lightning quick release, solid decision making, great athleticism, literally everything you could want in a quarterback. I honestly believe that with him last year we would have been in serious contention for the SEC Championship, and this year we would have been National Championship contenders. I know QB isn't our only issue but can you imagine if we had had Perrilloux for the Florida and Bama games this year? What could have been... oh well
36 ppg on offense 10-0 and #1 ranked in the nation. And that's being honest. Crowton would be having a field day every week.
Morale problems on the team. 3-4 players per year in trouble either with the coaches or with the PO-lice. The QB you don't have is always such a great QB. :rolleye33:
Totally agree, you couldnt rely on him week in and week out to stay out of jail or in trouble. I'll pass!
Not much better. OC is the problem, you can put who you want in there you are going to get similar results.
i agree also. the team was always waiting on the other shoe to drop. and it would have. sooner or later he would have pulled something to completely embarrass the university and really get his ass in trouble. turmoil on the team, a young qb being even MORE thrown to the wolves (it was bad enough as it was, it could have been even worse), and the only trophy we would be sniffing would be the fulmer cup. no thank you.
I think the team morale would be lower, and though the stats would be better, I think we'd have finished 9-3 or 8-4 last year, and be about the same for this year.
I dunno, boneheaded-ness aside, I think his talent alone would have gotten us to 10 wins last year. However, had that happened, would we have seen the shake-up on the defensive side of the ball?
better last year, about hte same this year. the o would be much better this year but the D would be much worse because peveto-mallory would still be DCs.
