1. I see that members have various reputations (begining to, good, perfect, bad, etc) represented by the green bar under their avatar. Would you explain how that is determined?
  2. I know, when I first got here, I was puzzled too.

It's supposed to be a gauge of your reputation. If someone likes what you post, they can give you points by clicking on the thumbs up icon below the bar.

When you click on it and it's your own post, it gives you a report on that post only. When you click on it and it's someone else's post, you can agree or disagree. Positive rep accumulates as green blocks, and negative rep is expressed as red blocks. I don't know how many points it takes to get a new block (pos. or neg.)

It's supposed to give people an idea of your credibility, but it can be used to send short messages to the poster that are private (without resorting to the PM feature).

To see the points and comments, click on "control panel" at the top of each page and then click on "Master control panel" in the drop down menu. You'll be able to see who gave you the reps and what comments they made.
You can disable it if you want to and that's why some posters have a single black box instead of green or red ones.

I think it's great because you get to say stupid $hit here and get points...now if I could figure out a way to say stupid $hit and get MONEY, I'd really be in business !!!:hihi:.
  3. Wait, Brett lied to me when he said the check was in the mail?
  4. Tell him you only accept PayPal
  5. Thanks for the replies. That explains it.
