I'm coming from west monroe and I just wanted to know how long the drive is to Starkville. I want to know how early to leave especially if JP picks up the game.

any info. would be appreciated.

That is what it seems like. It is really about a 6 hour trip from baton rouge. I played a little JC baseball close to Starkville and it is one interesting place. Bars close at 12:00am & no cold beer sold at stores. The town is really behind the times. If you go with an open mind you can still have a good time thou. Need to stay in Columbus, Ms. it is right next door and is alot more fun.

I live just outside of Jackson and it is about a 2 hour drive up Hwy 25. It is now a little faster if you go up I55 and take hwy 82 over to Starkville, since 82 is 4 lane about all the way now.

If it takes you 6 hours from BR, you are going the wrong way. It is usually only a 4 1/2 hr trip from BR.
