How many games will the defense have to win?

I think our defense will have to win 5 games holding teams to 7 or under and even scoring a TD or two on turnovers.

Humm. thats a lot of pressure to put on a defense. we are in trouble if Flynn and Co. can't do any better than that. But i think we're alrite. :thumb:

Contrary to popular opinion, I would add the "MSU Dawgs" to the list.

id take UF and Ark off the list. dont think their D will keep LSU O under 20. likely take Bama off too, because their D is a little behind, LSU will be rested and up, and the O will be rolling that late in the season.

I think the defense will need to step up strong this year, I just hope Flynn was taking notes, and makes the right reads when it gets to the Big Games, ie. AU and UF last year. I know he probably wanted to come into those games last year so bad, it was killing him. I just hope we can get the scores when we really need them.

The defense will have to step up in every game as will the offense. LSU should never expect the D to hold teams to 7 or less. The only team you listed that we might have trouble scoring on is Va Tech. They have a great defense and it's early in the year. A new OC, QB, and young receiving corps will take a few games to get in sync.

Since "Defense wins Championships" and "Championships are won one game at a time..."

    We have our answer:

    One Game at a Time

    I agree with that philosophy.

NOTE: Your "Tiger" looks even better with the "M STATE" logo on his forehead. Hopefully, it is symbolic of the results of the upcoming game. Looking forward to the evening of August 30, win or lose. Should be a good one.

    Clara,

I believe what you fail to notice isn't that the tiger is stamped, but rather the logo is right in the sights of the tiger. It is on our minds and on the minds of our team.

You could say that the Tiger has been stamped by MSU, but that would be like saying the cabbage ate the cow.
