if they had played LSU's schedule through the first 8 games?

I'll give them wins vs. Moo U, MTSU, Tulane, and South Carolina (cuz it was Smelly's first game and it would've been in The Horseshoe.)

I think they easily lose to Florida. I doubt their "dominant" D could have kept up with Woodson and his speedy receivers in Lexington. Auburn may have out-physicalled them (especially since it would have been the third tough game in a row for a team that's used to playing two tough games all year).

Virginia Tech would be a toss-up. But in The Horseshoe, I'll give it to the Buckeyes.

That's 5-3 and out of the Top 25.

Am I off my rocker? :tigerhead

Looking aqt this schedule they allow too many close games by unrsnked oppenents. OSU could not have survived an 8 game stretch with 5 nationally ranked top 17 teams. Winsy, PSU and Michigan all are mediocre and will put up too mnay points for them to finish undefeated. Their D has not been tested. We need to win out but we'll be #1 in the polls going into the SECCG.
