east carolina vs. south carolina (h)
    georgia vs. ga tech (h)
    florida vs. miami (h)
    texas a&m vs. lsu
    fla state vs arkansas (h)
    vandy vs. texas (h)

    tulane vs csf (h)

without getting into to much analysis:
    south carolina: yes
georgia: did start an impressive streak AFTER playing @ the box
florida: coral cables is a tough place to play
lsu:yes, a&m is peaking at the right time - tough series.
arkansas: still not impressed wioth the hogs, the noles can't seem to win the big games, see ga tech. i have no respect for the acc.
vandy: came to the box and lost 2 close games, so anything is possible.
    tulane: who cares.

my final thoughts i can see 3 teams winning their respective series and advancing. GB :eek:ldskule:

    SEC

    I Think South Carolina
    Georgia
    Florida
    LSU
    Arkansas
all have very good chances of going to the CWS. Vandy beating Texas would be great. I would love to see that happen.

I'm hoping for at least 3 teams ... LSU, USC and Georgia have the best shots. If Vandy can steal a win with Sowers pitching today, they'll have a shot. I don't think Florida has a shot at Miami. Arkansas and Tulane are a toss up.

Nothing would make me happier to see all 6 teams make it to Omaha ... that would really piss off the NCAA!

P.S. I could really do without Tulane in Omaha!

I think that LSU, GA, SC are locks. Arkansas has a much better than average chance. Florida and Vandy will both lose in two.

Tulane, I could give two shyts, but they will get creamed.

While the odds are clearly not in favor, I think it would be awesome if all six made it to Omaha. That would show just how dominant the SEC is. Of course, that would probably initiate some rule making to where they would set it up to limit the number of teams from each conference through the regionals.

gorillia ball, you are living in the past with your screenname.

why would you want to know about the future.

your screenname suggests you just care about the past.

LSU and Gorilla Ball are no longer words that can be spoken in the same breath.

Vandy has an interesting problem. Do you throw your best starter against a guy you may not score on? Or do you save your 2 best pitchers for game's 2 and 3? I would do the latter.
