Bama/UT game is an 11:30 kickoff on Lincoln Financial.

Better than no broadcast. Out in West Texas LF is one of the games I always get on the net. No bad words about them from me.

I'm not complaining; just the 11:30 slot is for the pillow fights usually....

Exactly, last year, LSU's pillow fight against Moo U. was on LF
This year, UT's pillow fight against BAMA is on LF.

LFS has a contract with the SEC that states that each school must give LFS at least one game per year (circumstances permitting).

You're right, UT has fallen but they'll be back. As for Bama, good to see they finally are getting TV time. They need the recognition if they ever want to become a big time program.:thumb:

Exactly, but the main circumstance is that a national TV station doesn't pick up the game first. Hence the hilarity of this game on LFS.

    That's a statement I simply don't understand.

The "3rd Saturday in October" used to mean a primetime tv slot on a major network ........ not the prestigeous matchup it once was. Definitely taking a backseat to UK-UF and AU-LSU.

Here is another example of how the might have fallen.

This weekend is Miami vs. Florida State, and we have barely heard a word about it (thank goodness). 5 years ago there would have been a "teams at 20" report breaking into Rome is Burning on a Tuesday.
