I hope it turns out like that, but I'm afraid many LSU fans who would otherwise motor out will fly due to the distance. I hope I'm wrong.

I am going to the game. I am bringing a pac 10 fan ( he hates U of A) I got him to buy a LSU shirt, I am also bringing some freinds from San Diego that went with me to the Long Beach State LSU baseball game. I think they are more pumped up then I am. After the tailgate in Long Beach they want to go to anything that deals with LSU fans and food. We plan on showing the Pac 10 folks a thing or two on what it is like to have some tradition and passion for football. SEC football its a matter of life or death.... no it more important than that.....

    Not only the distance,

The short weekend will hurt the number of Tigers travelling. If it was scheduled for Labor Day weekend, I think it would double the LSU fans making the trip.

You can get anything and everything cajun (up to and including live seafood) from "www.cajungrocer.com"

I have been away from the south about 8years now I may need some good cajun instructions on what and how to cook it up right. I have not had much time in the kitchen with cajun goodies. My wife is a great cook but she is from AZ ( south west flavor) Please feel free to send any info my way.. I am going to check out the cajun grocer for sure. I do have a Justin Wilson cookbook.......hope to see Tiger fans in AZ

I am from Lake Charles and grew up going to LSU games, and I am here to tell you that your right. I moved to Tucson 3 years ago and I do corporate advertising with the U of A get 14 season tickets to football starting last year, and it aint Baton Rouge. However, for the LSU game I have a large corporate tailgate tent, and a cajun restaraunt serving gumbo, jambalaya, etc. for 2-300 people. It will be the closest thing to Tiger Stadium this year for me. (The good news is I have Basketball tickets, 2, that are as good as gold here.) So if your heading this way, come by and see us so we can show'em how it's done.
