I know we are all disturbed by us losing a game that we all felt was ours for the taking but i have been looking at everything and these are my observations:

Kentucky caught us at the perfect time.
They had extra time to prepare.
Mentally our team was not sharp as shown by all the stupid penalties.
Our coaches game plans had some flaws.
Couple of close calls went against us that really turned the game.
Game management mistakes that Coach Miles acknowledged.
Flynn hasnt been sharp since injury. Affecting his technique of throwing.
Defense not playing as aggressive exposing some db vulnerability
Our receivers without doucet are young and very inconsistent.

This team played hard and gave everything they had. I think had we not been pushed so far emotionally in the Fla game maybe we have the gas left in the tank to win that game but we do play in the SEC and you have to make the plays to win.

Even though i have been as critical as anyone here in pointing out what went wrong i am really proud of this team and i would not want to be the team coming in to Tiger Stadium this Sat. night.

When LSU TIGERS get wounded they come out ferrocious and the monkey has been removed off our back that comes with being number 1.

We still have a great team and lets get focused on kickin that War Eagle back to the trailer park.

I think we owe Auburn a thing or two and i for one am eager to see a few missed calls go our way so we can hear them bitch about officiating.

Arent there any SEC refs that like LSU. If there are they must have been in rehab with Lindsey Lohan and Britney the past 2 years.

Geaux LSU I Still Believe In Youuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!

I'll give you all of those EXCEPT the day game. At the level that LSU has worked so hard to get to, game time shouldn't impact outcome, especially on the road. When you're "champ-caliber," jersey color and game time should be the last thing to impact the play on the field.

    My two pence.

I think besides the obvious bad play we've shown... I think the biggest factor is the 8 straight game schedule before our 1st week off. We came off a physical game against UF and then right into another one with kentucky... damn I think we're just tired and to some degree beat up. Not many teams can play that kind of football 2-3 weeks in a row and hold it together as well as we have. After this week we're going to enjoy a much needed week off. Hopefully we can bring it all together and stomp Sabans A$$.

Looking at the "big picture", this is the reason we were beaten by Ky. I believe the defense will bounce back especially since we won't see as good a QB for the rest of the regular season. Don't know about the WRs and even if Early starts against Auburn, doubt he will be in mid-season form. Go Tigers !

Do you think the Tigers can hold up one more week after the two tough physical games? I do hope so as they came off the games with quite a few nicks and bruises. At least emotionally I expect them to bounce back and hope that will carry them throught the Auburn game.
