I wore this sweatshirt yesterday( I know, a little warm, but I figured I would test it out for this game) and we got whooped...I am close to retiring it now....Some may same dumb, but I am superstitious about these things... I hate it because its a great damn sweatshirt... Oh well... :lsug:  :lsug: :tigerhead :lsug:  :lsug:
After one game? Here is my family's superstition...Never eat Rib's on Gameday. We have had Ribs for the LSU-Auburn game in 2002, LSU-Kentucky game 2002 (won but should of lost) Ribs for the LSU-Auburn game 2004 ribs for the LSU-Arkansas game in 2002 (lost in the final minute) ribs for the LSU-Ole Miss game back in 2001. It sucks because ribs are so good. :bncry: :hihi:
I may or may not give it one more shot...I felt so terrible last night that I am not sure I ever want to look at that sweatshirt again...
Yesterday, I decided to break out the lucky shirt that I had only wore to the SECCG and Sugar Bowl last year. I wasn't going to, but I figured the UGA game was big enough of a game. Now I'm debating whether I'm going to wear it to the UF game, which was the original plan.
This is good stuff. The outcome of the game is dependent on whether or not you wear a shirt or not in your little house while LSU is out playing the game on the field. The football gods have a lot to figure out while taking into account everyone's rituals. The sad thing is you guys actually believe this. It affects your lives so much that you will or will not do something based on superstition. What a bunch of idiots! Grow up people. Whether you wear your gold or white shirt, it has NO effect on the game! Especially if you are not playing in it! Wow, this is really funny, yet pathetic stuff.
