You know you can't wait for football when there is a 5 page thread about a dude streaking in Tiger Stadium two years ago.

Even though I had a lot of posts on that thread, I agree with you. Seems as this is the time of year where someone will toss up a topic and the rest of us inadvertantly turn on each other....

I just want some SPORTS!!! :thumb:

I would rather watch professional bowling than NBA basketball. The game has turned into a circus and the Thug filled teams have driven about 50% of the old fan base away.

You people are nuts. It's one of the best sports periods of the year right now. MLB, Hockey playoffs, Indy 500 coming up, etc.

I used to really feel the same. I used to love watching the NHL playoffs...but not so much now. Now, if I'm flipping through the channels, and I come across an NHL playoff game, and nothing else is really interesting on, then I'll watch.

Living in Boston the past 5 years (when the Bruins were in the playoffs for 3 of those) I made at least 1 playoff game in each of those seasons. Only problem with playoff hockey is that sometimes it gets a little "soft"--no one is going to standup and fight for their scorer like the regular season because everyone is cautious about drawing a penalty...
