The picture for LSU football over the next few years looks blazingly bright.

So... Miles is not the downfall of Western Civilization and the ruin of LSU football. I am glad we did not fire him.

I am too, but we aren't done yet... He had an impresive year, given the circumstances, with all Saban's guys. From here on out, we get to see how good he is with his own.

I wonder what the odds of him going to Michigan now are... hmmm...

While Miles has done a great job in recruiting and coaching the team this past season, I don't think he has proven enough for Michigan to be drooling over him just yet. A few more solid seasons and maybe a title or two and then maybe, but even then it may take a whole lot to pull him away from here. I realize that Michigan is his old stomping grounds, but LSU is no stepping stone for any other college program.

Michigan is already drooling over Miles, and if they have another let down season - you better believe serious consideration would be given to him. Miles has a lot going for him, but you can never discount the importance of someone's alma matter. If Michigan offered him the job, there's a strong possability he would take it.
