I'm sure I've said this before on this site, not that any of you recognize me, but I've never seen LSU lose a game in Tiger Stadium. This includes the few games as a youngster during the hallman years, the end of dinardo, etc. My most "accomplished" game attended is the 1997 upset of Florida. My grandpaw took me to the game thinking it wouldn't be much of a game, little did he know that I've got the lucky bottom. I still have that ticket framed on my bedroom dresser. Now after that game I didn't start going to games again until 2002, but only for a few. Then comes 2003. Out of every home game that year, the only one I didn't attend was ... yeah... Florida. 2004 I skipped most of the games due to living too far away. Then in 2005 the only home game I didn't attend was ... yeah... Tennesee, due to the hurricane. Now this year I'm unable to find a ticket. Even if I were to find a ticket I'd probably be unable to afford it because my car is in the shop. So the moral to the story? It is that you should hope I find a way into that stadium or hope my clutch isn't the problem and it's only the master cylinder. If not, I have a feeling we'll be seeing lot of this :sob::sob::sob: (really, I just hope we win, but this just has all the makings of a defeat according to my mythology)
I had a black cat cut in front of me, walked under a ladder, had an auto accident today, my house flooded friday (last 2 serious) but we will still open up a can of whoop ass on the gators......and I will finally be happy again!
haha, i wish it was just a clever attempt to get a ticket, but really it's not. i can really go through the list of home games at lsu and literally every loss was a game i didn't attend. granted i've never been a season ticket holder, i just went to games with my gandpaw. but since florida in 97 he's taken to me to all the big games that i've been able to attend until now. he's too old to drive home himself late at night and i don't live in lafayette anymore so i can't give him a ride. so yep, he has to take someone else. either way, even if you guys did find me a ticket i probably won't be able to afford it. so like i said, hope i can find a way into the stadium and hope my car's problem isn't the cluth and is only the cylinders. and to the guy whose home got flooded and got in an accident... man that's some bad karma there. i see no way we can win now.
We don't need you. You see, back in '03, while living in Boston, I made precisely ONE LSU home game (my birthday weekend) and we went on to win the national championship. Fast forward to the present, and on my birthday weekend, I attended an LSU home game. and this will be the only ONE game that I will be able to make this season (wife's expecting our first-born). One game in '03 and we won a National title One game in '07 ...? Let's say I like our chances. With, or without you.
As long as I've been old enough to use a toilet, LSU has never lost a game when I take a dump in a Tiger Stadium commode. My grandma would load me up with crawfish and corn before every game that I attended, so you can imagine what I went through when the time came. But my wallet was stolen when I chased down a guy who robbed an old lady recently. Little did I know that when I was handing the old lady her purse back, the robber took my wallet when I wasn't looking. so, basically, all I need is a ticket so I can just take a lucky, winning dump in a Tiger Stadium toilet.
