That Steve Spurrier is the best offenisive mind I have ever seen on the college level. That man is truly a football genius. Now I know why all those quarterback's go there. If they can put up with the Bullshit, they are in an offense where recievers will always be open, and they will always have a chance to throw the ball because they get good protection and quick routes. I, however, don't see Florida winning the MNC. Reason being because their defense is not dominant, and their running game is not as good as advertised. LSU could have scored 30 points on Florida if they had capitalized on all their scoring chances(then again, Florida could have scored 70 if they had capitalized on all their chances) and a team like Miami I think can beat florida. Not taking anything away from them, because they are a hell of a team and have all my respect.
If you base analysis on one game, a win, then it is flawed. Miami under your analysis should be #25 in USA based on play vs Troy State, first yr in Div 1. Look at tape of UF def vs Marshall or Miss State. Our def has given up 45 pts in 5 games that is 9 per game, what more do you want ?? Our running game is never "dominent" like UT, but it is fine, like 96 which ran in 2nd half of games after they were won. The idea of college football is to outscore the opponent, the idea of SOS our HBC is to outscore the opposition by 25+ per game, which is what is happening. Best to all you LSU fans, hope you all do make it to SEC-west title, Geaux Tigers from here on in!!!!!!!!
Quoi? A what? The acronyms need some explanation (I know MNC, as does everyone). What's this other one?
Let me see if I can help with a couple of the more 'familiar' acroymns that Gator fans use.... HBC = Head Ball Coach, a name Spurrier uses to describe himself (to him 'ball' means only football!) SOS = Steven Orr Spurrier (we use a capital "O" in his name to differentiate it from Strength of Schedule with a lower case "o" = SoS) as for Geaux....(just kidding!)
