come off their bye week and play like the Saints played today off their bye week. I think, though, that Miles will have a different approach to the UT game than he did the AU and UF games. I don't think he'll play as conservative as he did in the first two games, at least I hope so. Hopefully he'll come out with 3 and 4 WR sets and firing the ball and in turn open up the running game. LSU needs to score early and often to get the UT crowd out of the game, except me and the rest of the LSU faithful, and we should win. Hopefully we'll see some trick plays too (Holliday and Doucet). To sum up, we SHOULD beat UT. We are the better team and lets get some payback for last year.

UT has some great talented players. They have lost one close game. There is nothing I've seen that shows we should score often. LSU has a lot of talent. We stay away from the turnovers we should win. This game could go either way. Hopefully we put together 60 minute game and win.:geauxtige

UT is very good, but the D is only slightly above average. They've only given up less than 10 points twice. If USC can score 24 and Air force can score 30, I think our offense should be fine. However they have a powerful offense, they won't dominate us, but they won't need to. they might put in a couple good drives but they wont' score a lot so we need to make sure our offense finishes drives, unlike at auburn.

I am sure Miles and Pellini would use last year's tough lost as a big motivational point. Play with intensity for full 60 minutes, and take no prisoners.

Last years loss was all coaching. The defensive scheme of prevent defense in the 2nd half was awful and the conservative play offensive play calling was terrible. Miles has not impressed me in the big games thus far in coming up with an offensive scheme with Jimbo and having the players ready to play.

I expect that Tennessee has their numbers by now, they likely won't surprise anybody. But it will definitely change their defense. Holliday will get attention from a safety who'll leave a receiver in single coverage. And everybody is expecting a pass from Doucet, which will make defenses wary.

Like you, I believe we can move the ball against them. If we don't turn it over LSU will be finishing some drives.:geauxtige

If AB can play as well this Sat as he did against Fresno, I REALLY like our chances. The coaching staff should use the same gameplan they used against the bulldogs.....
