.. are respectful towards VT tonite. I fear that some drunken wackos are going to do something, like throw bottles at the VT team bus or harrass VT fans, that will make the national sports news and embarrass LSU and Baton Rouge. We need to root for LSU today but NOT root against VT. Give them the kind of consideration we got when we traveled to Arizona State after Katrina. Sadly, i fear it might be business as usual, with a lot of invective tossed at the opposing team and its fans, at Tiger Stadium.
Re: I hope LSU fans ... What is this B.S. about "not rooting against vt"?? It's a freaking football game. I want good things to happen to LSU and bad things to happen to the opponent just like in every game. VT will get their quilt or whatever before the game, then it's on just like any other game.
Re: I hope LSU fans ... Why? LSU had nothing to do with what happened to VT. Please Let the hokies move on! damn ! Im soooooo freaking tired of hearing about katrina! Its over! move the hell on! If your tree hugging ass would go to some VT web sites you will see that VT does not want LSU to perform a memorial service. They are ready to move on and I applaud them for that.
Don't be jackasses towards them. Everything else is fair game. Tak trash all you want, just don't attack any of them. BOO their team as hard as you can, it's football and home field advantage will be huge for this game.
Re: I hope LSU fans ... This is the kind of attitude that could lead to embarrassing outcomes for LSU. Sheesh ...
Re: I hope LSU fans ... Geaux bury your head under a rock chump, it's ****ing gameday against a top ten opponent who kicked our asses a few years ago. This aint the time or place for you do gooders to post this nonsense.
This board is tense... Stephen, this is all stuff we've heard before. Trust me, no one goes to the game planning to attack the other teams fans, stuff like that happens everywhere though. We as fans know how to handle these situations, if they want us to give some respect we will... before the game (if there is a memorial or anything), but after that, it is back to rooting for our Tigers to knock their azzes back to Virginia. o:
I have a good feeling that the first moron with a tasteless sign will get "reeducated" by our own fans. It's Turkey Dinner tonight, folks. Put a bandaid on your bleeding heart for a few hours...
Oh, and did you guys see the Tiger fans wearing orange construction hats on Gameday - I'd say that's a good sign of what's in store tonight - good natured ARSEKICKIN!
