It just hit me that I'm going to miss seeing the -Kentucky game in a couple of weeks. I've got to go to the wedding of a law school classmate (who obviously is not a college football fan and has relinquished all control to the soon-to-be wife by letting her set a Saturday wedding in the fall :dis. What's interesting about this, is the last time I attended the wedding of a law school classmate (and missed an LSU!-Kentucky game) was October 13, 2007. Yep, the Tigers lost in triple overtime. Buuuuuuuuuuut, our boys won the game that REALLY mattered on January 7, 2008. In the Superdome. Got the second one of these: :crystal: Is this a pattern?
Yep, right next to his shriveled unusable Rocky Mountain oysters. :rolleye33: I talked with him Monday night and he told me he had spent Sunday assembling wedding programs. I have no hope for the boy. :bncry:
That's why I am glad I married a Louisiana girl. She wanted to get married on a Friday so we would not prevent anyone from watching LSU play and so we could go to the game on our honeymoon.
The only reason I would go to the wedding would be to slap some sense into him. Some advice: If you are married, keep your wife away from these people. If you are single, go to the wedding, hustle the groom's sister and sail her on the skin boat to tuna town.
