When I was at the Sugar Bowl, most OU fans were respectful and took the loss like men. USC is in a league by themselves. That would be the a-hole league. Amazing how they think that their doo doo don't stink. :po:

My dad & I had a great conversation over some early dinner with some OU fans in the mall right across from the Dome before the Sugar Bowl...

Well, it can't be "some" OU fans...They were two brothers, one a Oklahoma State Cowboy fan, and one a Sooner (They went to different schools!).

One was very interested in the outcome (the OSU guy) and claimed that we had more speed than any team and a better defense than any OU had faced. The other said that while he thought that would be a key factor, the offense of OU couldn't-or wouldn't-go through another dry spell like the one it suffered against KSU in the Big XII CG.

I saw no outlandish antics by OU fans during the entirety of our time in Nawlins for the Sugah Bowl...

I had similar experiences. I was walking across the street from the Marriot (where the band and team were staying) to a convenience store to get a chapstick (trombone is hell on the lips :)) after the game, and two OU fans were in there. They both congratulated me, the band, and the team! I was like what the F? You're supposed to say something along the lines of "go to hal LSU." I got respect for the class of most OU fans. Of course there are some jerks. But LSU's got jerks too, like any college.

After livin' on th' left coast for FAR TOO MANY YEARS,
I CAN confirm that there are no college football fans
    out here.

    Cheer?

Hell, you're lucky if they even SHOW UP.

the ONLY reason I go is to drink FREE BEER and eat FREE FOOD
and check out the local (and world imported) talent...

...other that that it's POINTLESS to look for real FB here...
