But didn't think about it. A couple of weeks ago I sat on the plane from Ft. Lauderdale with a guy who was wearing a blazer with the Sugar Bowl logo. He was a marketing guy, on his way back from the Pitt/WV game. He told me they really wanted LSU. Also, they thought about Rutgers playing us, but they didn't travel enough. So, they figured LSU/WV would be a better match up. I could have posted this and got some guru points. Completely forgot about, esp w/ all the Rose Bowl hysteria (that I participated in).
A couple of weeks ago was an entirely different scenario no one including the Sugar Bowl committee thought that LSU would drop to them until USC lost to UCLA.
