Texas Tech is averaging 2.33 points per minute and 17.44 yds of offense per minute of game clock. (21-0 with just over 6 minutes left in the 1st quarter). Rumor has it that they added a place for a third number on the score board this year. Do you think Leach would risk the negative pub generated by hangin a 100?
I live in Lubbock, and given the history between these teams (TTU and utexas), believe that TTU will be the team that takes UT out for you.
Leach has no shame, he'd do it in a heartbeat...and given the media these days, I doubt any of the national variety would cover it in a negative light.
Except for the first series of the second half, backups played in the 80-21 game. 766 yds of offense, but the amazing stat is the 40 first downs. I know this game is not important to you, but remember it when TTU plays Texas.
With 11:00 to go in the fourth quarter, they were at 73 points. Did anybody watch that game? How the hell do you score that fast unless you're either throwing the ball or the other team is lining up 6 guys on defense? And yea, I know, look at the title of the thread, but damn. Just curious what they were doing, and if they were trying to hit 100. And if they were, that's fine. I try to do it on PS2 whenever possible.
