I miss LSU Football already. I know basketball and baseball are LSU sports too but i am a football guy. I thought the recruiting might keep me going untill spring football starts but i just keep thinking how long until two a days start and i get that spring back in my step again. There is nothing like the feeling of the anticipation of the new football season starting. Looking forward to high expectations and trying to get every bit of news on the team and who is looking good. Buying my football books for the year and reading up on 119 teams and looking at the schedules. I always have trouble this time of year getting mentally prepared for the offseason. I have to become a husband again and do the things that get me my football time in the fall without harassment. Going to the plays and fixing things around the house, cuddle time returns and taking out the trash. Spring cleaning and picnics and visiting the in laws and and and and aaaaaaaaaaghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I wish i could take a pill that would let me sleep like bears hibernating until 2 weeks before the next football season starts again. Oh well lets keep the recruiting news coming and then spring football.
i dunno what you are talkin bout, college basketball is better than college football. yunno, march madness? the greatest sporting event in the world? sports ranks: 1. lsu basketball 2. lsu football/new york mets 3. nfl i mean seriously, compare the bcs to the ncaa tournament. basketball couldnt be more exciting with the dunks and buzzer beaters and whatnot. how about dmitch draining that late 3 at WV. or neltner with the garbage basket at the buzzer vs bama last year? T thomas ferociously rejecting every miserable son of a bitch that takes a shot near him? thats what i'm talkin about.
Any idea when the spring game is ? I thought I read where they are going to resod the field. Wonder if that is going to impact where the game is played ? Going to my first recruiting bash , hope to see some of you there. I'll be the guy with the purple and gold shirt on.
Are you daft, man? Buy yourself a boat. Nothing kills the non-football season like time on the water pursuing the fishies. Everytime I go outside right now, I do a little something to my boat or tackle. Cuddle time? With my Lab, maybe.
Usually I don't agree with the "male perspective" on issues such as this. Ya know, their way of thinking when it comes to getting their way? Especially, the honey-do list.......you should be doing it anyway! But, CalcoTiger, I have to put my guard down and agree with you on this one. I, too, live for football season and thought I was the only one going through withdrawals...lol The key to mine was to get rid of the "honey" and there goes the do-list, but it doesn't work for everyone...lol Good luck! :geauxtige
Let's not open up that can of worms right now... MMMMkayy? We don't want to get rid of the honey. We want to get rid of the "do-list".
The honey comes with the "do-list" so IMO you have to take the good with the bad. And the do-list was not my reason for getting rid of the honey. Of course, it didn't help matters that he was a Bama fan and hated LSU. The objective of my post was to agree that I miss football season too, not to strike a nerve from u guys. So, if I did, accept my appology.
