We as fans in no way appreciated Jack Hunt enough!!!

He was the glue that held and made that secondary GREAT last year.

I was talking to someone about this earlier this week....as much as a lot of people on this board said he sucked last year....i think he would be a fitting leader for this defense....especially since we don't have one of those as of yet...

Jack Hunt was the QB of our defense last year.

Here is another topic...Travis Daniels. What's up with him!? He has got burned almost every game, he looks really bad. Corey Webster got burned today but he still is one of the best CB's in the nation.

One of my co-workers, who's an LSU alum, and I said the same thing--that Hunt may not have been the most talented player out there, but he was definately one of the smartest and he really seemed to have a knack for putting our DB's in the best possible positions.

I personally don't think that had a thing to do with this game. We got burned in man to man coverage.

Then you must have just started watching football today for the first time.

Lack of LEADERSHIP in the backfield contributied to the POOR play, that is what Jack Hunt provided last year.

    i agree !

They found our weakness (the corners) and capitalized. Now we better work on that weakness to prevent every other team we play to act on what they've seen tonight. :geaux:
