I like it too, I think they should wear them atleast once a year. Maybe for the Homecoming game.

I like the helmet but they would look bad with the unis. All white would be hard to look at as well as wearing them with purple jerseys.

I love those white helmets, so much that I bought one. In fact I got drunk last night and I was watching LSU footage on YouTube and ended up putting the helmet on top of my entertainment system for kicks.

This has been beat to death on this board since I joined, and that was 4 years ago.

The general consensus is that most prefer the yellow helmets, white jerseys, and gold pants,
which is our traditional home uni.

Most folks like them because, guess what, they're traditional.

Most folks DON'T LIKE CHANGE.

There are some that have threatened retching and violence if the above uni would be altered or disappear.

Myself, I like the purple jerseys, and occasionally mixing in the white helmet would be OK too,
but NOT with the white jerseys.

The gold jerseys are OK too. I'm not sure about white or purple pants, or purple helmets.

I actually own an official yellow and an official white helmet, and they're BOTH nice.

I'm not knocking either helmet. I just want the coaches to choose the one that gives us the best chance to win.
