I feel your pain. Hopefully you get power soon! ...and hopefully you'll get your LSU "fix" in 2 weeks vs Tenn! :thumb:

wow, thanks for the offer man!!! but as we speak I have power!!!! bout 2 hours ago they were out there on my corner and saying they couldnt do anything about it until some people across from me cut down some trees because of health risks. I was pretty upset about it but didnt let it show, I was more upset with the homeowners than anything else.

I went inside and I had made a gallon of iced tea and it was on ice in an ice chest. I brought out a stack of mardi gras cups with precious ice in them and that gallon of tea and gave it to the workers. (they looked like they needed it more than me)

they thanked me, and I went back inside, and 45 minutes later I was sitting in my house when someone knocked on my door... the doors are wide open because im letting air circulate, I yelled "come in!" then a cleco worker walks around my corner with all the cups stacked up and the gallon container and hands them to me and says, " thanks man, oh, and we managed to work around that tree."

I went outside, turned the "main" switch on to the fuse box and the lights came on. I looked across the street at that house and the cleco guys had cut the tree off and got my power up.

IT ROCKS! I'll never take it for granted again, that's for sure ;)

I have had similar problems but hey...that is life. Throws you some curveballs.

It's how you deal with them that makes you who you are.

I have my health, a great college football team, and a beer in my hand

Words to live by right there. Anybody can be happy when things are going their way. It takes something different to be happy when the chips are down.
