    I actually noticed that crap as I was looking through SI this evening. My neighbors would turn me in to the association for grass that high! I'm guessing it's like when the Celtics used to hang long nets when the Lakers came to the parquet, to slow the opponent down.

    Heck, that just one of the reasons they call it home field advantage. I love reading old stories about Major League baseball teams and the things that transpired back in the day.
