I wish Josh and Paul would have played in there Senior game....

At least start them for a minute or two. Or at the very least start them in the 2nd half. Vandy went on a tare anyways to start the 2nd and im sure that those two seniors playing with the other 3 starters woudnt have made much of a difference.

I just hate to see them honored and there parents come from Chicago (Pauls case) and to the house there husband built ( Josh's Mom) to watch them ride the pine the whole game.:sob:

Yeah I know the game was close but at one time we were up like 17 throw them in then for a min or two.

 

agreed, at least call timout with 47 seconds and let wolfert and maravich dribble out the clock.

 

When LSU had the ball with 30 seconds left and was dribbling out the clock, I thought it would have been good for BRady to clal timeout and get those two guys in the game.

Any point before that, no way.

On a somewhat related note, I thought Hudson kicking the ball into the stands was very classless.

 

Just shows you can't please everyone. Many fans, at the beginning of the season, were busy suggesting ways Brady could get into the tournament instead of screwing up the team.
Now we are in the tournament and the problem in some folks minds is who he didn't play. Be happy we won.

 

Josh's mom sat kind of near the student section and I hope she heard me yesterday... because I kept yelling "WE WANT JOSH!".

Hud's ball wound up in the student section as well... three guys were fighting over it for about five minutes. Finally they broke it up when everyone was telling them to throw the damn thing back to Hud.

 

You are right ... who cares if it was their senior day! :nope:

Brady should have called a TO at the end of the game to get them in. He could have replaced Hudson and Whipple with Maravich and Wolfert ... all 4 could have gotten a nice little standing ovation.

You want classless, how about taking a timeout with a commanding lead over a conference opponent just to embarass them by putting in the bench. That is classless!

I wanted to see them play as much as the next guy, but I think it would have been way wrong to put them in by taking a timeout.

 

I don't think taking a timeout to put two seniors in is classless. It shows respect for the guys who have given their time to the program even when they didn't play. Given it was Sr. night, I don't think any opposing team would look at it as embarrassing, I think they would see it for what it was. A chance to thank two guys that will not have the opportunity to play at PMAC again.

 

If Brady had started them in the 2nd half, with the 16 point lead, everybody would have bashed Brady for letting Vandy back in the game.

 

Well maybe they would have established more a of lead. You never know Josh might have got his father's ability over night...I wish...
