OK, who the hell decided to display the "Top 25 Scoreboard" like they did last night?? It was crazy... they must have just recently figured out how to do Powerpoint transitions, because the actual scores were mostly useless due to the swiping/fading/etc. every freakin' 2 seconds. Just had to get that off my chest... go back to your regularly scheduled discussions now.
I agree, if they are going to do all those corny transitions atleast make it move a little quicker. That was a joke.
Email Herb Vincent. He's the only administrator at LSU who personally answers every email and he gets information to the right places. Let him know the fans don't like it and I bet the problem goes away.
Kevin Wagner is the guy that runs the show up on the 5th floor of the Athletic Administration Building...You can call the SID office and ask to speak to him. Now, I don't know how far you'll get with him (Personal experience) talking about anything in particular, but you can try. Red55 is right. Vincent is a consummate professional, and will channel your displeasure through the proper networks.
One other thing, not necessarily about the Jumbotron. Does anyone else think that the music they play before the game sucks this year. I'm talking about when the band is in the tunnel waiting for the team to come out. Last year was Boom, the year before that was For Whom the Bell Tolls. This year...sucks. Not really a song to get the crowd pumped. What does everyone else think about this?
Yeah those stupid animations on the jumbotron were not at all amusing. I didn't hear anyone ohhiing and ahhing over it. There is no need for those cheap animations we just want to see the scores. The only thing it may due is just scare the drunk people into thinking that they are now stoned.
