All good suggestions. Mine would involve a time machine and Joe Dean. Everyone can fill in the blanks.

Give myself a lifetime pass to stand with the teams for all sporting events, home or away, and give myself free airfare, hotel and car rental for all events. Wait, I would have the 2nd half done for all senior citizens that live out of the area and all senior citizens would only pay student ticket prices. Yep thats it.:geaux:

If I was AD today, I would organize a parade through the middle of Baton Rouge for our baseball team. I wonder if it would be the first parade for a non-national champion team? It doesn't matter...I would do it as a way to show our gratitude for one amazing season. I know we're not in the habit of celebrating sub par performance down here....but there is no way in hell that anyone could consider this great season as sub par. This team excelled and deserve praise.

About 20 years. Parts of the lower bowl are 84 years old, it was the first building built on campus. Steel reinforment bars inside the concrete is rusting and deteriorating. When the stadium approaches 100 years old, structural problems will become a real issue. The wiring and plumbing is badly deteriorated, too. Not to mention it looks like a dump underneath compared to modern stadiums and the upper decks, especially the lower sideline ares, which happen to have very high surcharges. Those folks are already demanding better facilities comparable to the upper decks.

Logistically, how long will it take to replace the lower bowl? How long would Tiger Stadium be out of commission (because I can't imagine it being done in an off-season.) Would LSU have to play a season of home games in the Superdome?

i would think that would be a nightmare to work out logistically given that tulane plays their home games at the dome. the schedules would have to be juggled so that both teams would not be playing on the same day.
