No question LSU. Michigan is ranked 11th now, there's no way they're going to move up 7 or 8 spots and get ranked 3rd or 4th over LSU. The question that should be asked is "Will LSU jump WV?" I think they will if they win, but I'm not in the media. And if LSU can't jump WV no way Michigan does.

I suppose it's a no brainer that LSU gets the higher ranking but Michigan gains more ground than LSU. The media will hype a team with a large fan/population base whenever the opportunity ari$e$.

I never said Michigan wouldn't gain ground. But think about it. It's a lot easier to move up if you beat the no.4 team and you're ranked 11th than if we beat the no.3 team and we're ranked no.6. Let's face it, there's not much room left for us to move up so ofcourse Michigan will gain ground on us. Heck if TCU beats Texas Tech, even if they're ranked 24th and they move up to 19th they'll have "gained ground" on us from where they were the previous week.
