and somehow this tub 'o crap tuberville is his freaking replacement, would you keep your season tickets if you have them? Would the rest of you still go to the games and/or support LSU just the same? I'm having a hard time with people saying he is 2nd or 3rd on the prospectives list. I can't even comprehend how he would be a candidate...maybe its just us forum folks who hate him so much due to the constant ranting about him that I lost perspective. After having a discussion with some friends today, I said it would be a p.r. nightmare but maybe i am wrong. Some really think he has a good chance for the job if nick needs to be replaced. Its not possible to support LSU and not tub 'o crap if he comes. Obviously he's throwing his name out there again because he wants the job. Its bad enough Nick may leave but this would be too damn much to deal with. From complete class to total ass overnight.
I don't think I could pull for Tuby even if he was the LSU coach. I'd rather Spurrier over him, at least he was cocky for a reason.
GOD, I hope Tubby is never a serious candidate here. Theres too many coaches in America to consider someone like this!
Well.....I would not be happy with that hire, BUT I am not a fan of LSU football because of the coach. I have loved LSU all my life and if I have to start liking Dumbo I guess I will have to deal with that. I dont think that happens.
My good friend who has had season tickets since '58 said he would cancel his season tickets if this happened. This is the last guy I would want here, and it would be a very bitter pill to swallow. As much as I do not want to promote from within, I would take that in a second over tubbs.
Why start a thread about Tubby leaving when everybody who follows SEC football (should) know the guy has a freaking $3 MILLION DOLLAR buyout clause in his current contract?
